About bb.q Chicken Murphy
The bb.q in our name stands for "Best of the Best Quality", and that's exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken🍗 is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you've tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It's a tremendous amount of work, but it's all worth it when you take that first bite.

Many restaurants across Texas run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

I had a great experience with my pickup order from bbq Chicken! Everything was fresh, hot, flavorful, and packaged perfectly. My order was ready when I arrived, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I’ll definitely be ordering again highly recommend! 🍗🔥

Nothing beats Korean double-fried chicken. This place gets it right by using smaller chicken wings—the way authentic Korean fried chicken should be. The smaller wings are crispier, juicier, and much more flavorful than the oversized ones you often find elsewhere. Every bite is perfectly crunchy while staying tender inside. If you’re looking for authentic Korean fried chicken, this spot definitely delivers.

Not bad. Chicken is very crispy and they season/sauce everything very liberally (which is great!) but price per value is pretty… eh. Staff is nice, store is clean, food is a solid 6.67/10, and it’s just a regular clean store but it’s just the price that’s a bit of a turnoff.

Beware if you plan on doing takeout or delivery from here!!! For those orders, they use super, tiny wings, the smallest you can imagine! Whereas if you dine in, you get the normal sized wings. I was shocked when I opened the box from my delivery order and saw how small the wings were!! This is a classic bait and switch! A few years ago, their wings were much, much, bigger in size. But now the wings they are putting in delivery orders, are just comically small, especially when you're paying $2 a wing, it's a joke! Would not recommend ordering delivery, unless you want to receive the smallest wings you've ever seen. Wings of this size should never be served, much less being sold at such a premium! It's actually absurd!! Also my wings barely had any sauce on them, who is being stingy with sauce?? Leads me to believe they are definitely doing all kinds of shortcuts, which also explains why the wings for delivery orders are smaller and inferior.

My brother and I used to go to this place all the time, especially when it first opened and the service was great and the food was always great. Recently went back after living out of town and the service was below subpar. The lady at the front was nice as always but the young man at the front was very uninterested in servicing us. Not only us but another customer. He left the other customer that was dining-in food at the front, instead of bringing it to him. The customer had to get up and pick up his own food. The service made me not want to go back.
